Ferrite Bonding
Ferrite bonding is a critical process in electronics assembly, particularly in applications requiring high mechanical stability and resistance to vibration.

What do Ferrite Bonding Adhesives do?
DELO’s anaerobic adhesives provide a reliable, one-part solution for bonding ferrite components in both manual and automated production environments.
These one-part adhesives need no mixing and have unlimited working lifetimes. High-viscosity versions are used in this application as there is no dripping from the bond gap during storage after joining. Curing is accelerated when using a DELO-QUICK activator.
DELO-ML adhesives provide excellent resistance to vibration in high-reliability / automotive applications. Initial strength is achieved in as little as 20 seconds.
Key Features of DELO-ML
- One-part anaerobic-curing adhesives
- Cure in the presence of metal and the absence of oxygen
- Excellent thermal & chemical resistance
- Dual-curing option to “freeze” the visible part of the adhesive
- Flexible, impact-resistant and tension-equalising

Why DELO-ML for Ferrite Bonding?
- Anaerobic Curing: Cures in the absence of oxygen and presence of metal, ideal for ferrite-to-metal or ferrite-to-ferrite bonding.
- One-Part Formulation: No mixing required, simplifying handling and reducing waste.
- Fast Curing: Initial strength achieved in as little as 20 seconds; cure time can be accelerated with DELO-QUICK activators.
- High Viscosity: Prevents dripping from bond gaps, even during vertical storage.
- Excellent Resistance: Withstands thermal cycling, vibration, and exposure to chemicals.
Application Benefits
- Manual or Automated Assembly: Suitable for high-volume production lines or precision hand assembly.
- Flexible and Impact-Resistant: Adhesives are tension-equalising and reduce stress on bonded components.
- Dual-Curing Options: Some variants allow light-curing to “freeze” the visible adhesive for immediate handling.
Typical use cases
- Bonding ferrite cores in transformers and inductors
- Fixing coils to ferrite substrates
- Securing ferrite components in PCB assemblies
